Proposal Engineer settore automazione industriale

We are searching for a Proposal Manager for a technical company based in Bucine (AR). The candidate will be the reference technical point to client for the Request for quotation. The proposal engineer develop and review contract bids for projects based on what the client needs. The proposal engineer develop and provide documentation to make the proposal more competitive, analysing also costs and timelines. Proposal engineers often collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate bids.
Proposal Engineer main Roles & Responsibilities:
Review requests for proposals, analysing all set of documents received from client for the tender
Outline project specifications, to identify technical requirements listed in client specifications, requirements, constraints etc
Determine estimated costs, analyse cost&timing and identify a solution to optimise our competitiveness
Collaborate with other departments (sourcing, finance, engineering etc), to optimise our competitiveness
Conduct industry research, benchmarking with other supplier and competitors
Support the commercial operation to identify and mitigate risks
Qualification/Requirements:
Electronic/Mechanical/Chemical Degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' significant experience in a multidisciplinary assignment, in Oil & Gas environment as System Engineer, Lead/Senior Design Engineer
Experience in team coordination
Cross-functional team-working skills
Good knowledge of major technical International Standards
Working knowledge on Autocad and Microsoft office
Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical or Power Generation Plants design.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent executive requests in a timely manner
Global working experience with strong external focus (Customers and/or Suppliers)
Solid team management and project fulfilment execution experience
Ability to work in a matrix organization and to synthesize
Language : English
